The Standup Experience

Well, it was a great night! The audience was primo -just golden! -and I had a dead-on set. I want to do this again simply because I enjoy it - so mission accomplished. When standup comedy works - when the audience is with you - there's nothing like it - it's the best high ever - it's like riding a wave of love.

This night made me realize how much I missed the approval and applause of complete strangers.

Ah, comedy. You really are funny.
